On April 26, 2011, Senator Scott Brown paid a visit to Heinrich Ceramic Decal. After the meeting, Senator Brown toured the facility and had an opportunity to meet all the employees.

Unleaded glass decal for acid etched wareUnleaded dolphin decal applied to acid etched glass

We now have an unleaded glass decal designed specifically for use on acid etch glass. The decal fires well with no pin-holing. Spot color and four color process art can be reproduced with heavy metal free colors. This product is a good fit for candle jars, bar ware, cosmetics and spirits bottles.

Heinrich purchases Bry-Air desiccant media dehumidifier system

We’ve recently purchased, and will soon be installing in eaBry-Air 5000 CFMrly April, a Bry-Air 5000 CFM, gas reactivated, desiccant media dehumidification system. This unit, in conjunction with our recently installed Draabe microprocessor controlled humidification system, and existing computer controlled Tac Vista HVAC system, will contribute to our ongoing efforts to provide the very best environmental conditions throughout our facility. Our strict control of this environment is reflected in both print registration repeatability and overall product quality.

A Paragon TNF28 kiln has been installed to expand our firing capabilities to include high temperature firing. This kiln is used for development work with Inglaze and Underglaze projects

Heinrich installs a new screen Katana 5055R Image Setter. The imagesetter outputs film positives at a resolution of 3,000 dpi and consists of a spinning five-facet polygon mirror that transmits the imaging beam through a lens. The maximum spinning speed of the polygon mirror is 14,400 rpm, which translates into an effective spin rate of 72,000 rpm. This capital investment shows our commitment to using technology to deliver quality to our customers.

Heinrich installs a Draabe TurboFog airhumidification system to regulate plant humidity. All input water is run through a reverse osmosis filtration system to guarantee a completely hygienic water supply.

Heinrich completes the installation of a new automated screen coating machine. This precision unit has the capabilities to both scoop coat screens with liquid emulsion and also apply capillary film emulsions.

Heinrich Ceramic Decal has installed a new Harlequin Torrent RIP. It has increased speed, inline trapping, stochastic dot generation capability and the ability to RIP files for multiple output devices.
